"Female Knight"

The female knight is the first in a series of illustrations. The piece is a study on armor design. In it, I try to keep the armor practical for actual combat, whilst at the same time trying to preserve an essential feminine quality that would be lost if she were to wear historical armor. The ultimate plan for these is to be made into modular 3d models. Once that step is complete, the models, as a set of modular pieces, will be sent to a 3d printing company and printed out in plastic. These will then be molded for casting in resin. The Illustration was painted in Adobe Photoshop.
