"Fimir Attack"

This was an illustration that I did for "Tales of Battle" magazine to accompany an article for using Fimir in games of Warhammer. The idea behind the piece was a small band of Brettonian men-at-arms escorting a damsel through a swamp are ambushed by a band of Fimir. The Fimir are a semi-demonical race that requires human women to procreate, and this part of the background served as a perfect excuse to paint a 'damsel in distress' type of scene. It was done in watercolors on board.
