Halfling Patrol

This illustration was done for "Tales of Battle" magazine. It was created to accompany an article on using Halfling in games of Warhammer. In this illustration there is a small patrol of Halflings wandering about their village in military dress. A smaller band of scouts have mounted a wall, and are preparing for a percieved enemy (or possibly a small hare for lunch!). The farmlands take the Moot of Lord of the Rings as their primary inspiration. The illustration was done completely in Adobe Photoshop.
